Cookie Policy
How we use cookies and local storage, and how you can control them.
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Trip Saver uses cookies and similar technologies such as your browser’s local storage. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way but stays on your device and is not sent to our server with every request. We use both to remember your choices and keep the site working.
2. Strictly necessary
Needed for the website to work and to keep it secure. They cannot be switched off in our systems.

wordpress_test_cookie | Cookie | Checks that your browser accepts cookies | Session |
comment_author_* | Cookie | Remembers your name and email if you leave a comment | 1 year |
3. Preferences
Remember the settings you choose so the site shows the right prices and layout.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ts-country / ts-currency | Local storage | Your country and currency from the header or footer selector | Until cleared |
ts-origin | Local storage | Your departure city, used for flight prices and deals | Until cleared |

ts-cookie-consent | Local storage | Remembers your choice in the cookie banner | Until cleared |
ts-country-hint | Local storage | Remembers that you have seen the “choose your country” tip | Until cleared |
4. Security (captcha)
Our contact and newsletter forms may use Google reCAPTCHA (or a similar service) to block bots. It is only loaded when you use one of these forms and may set cookies such as _GRECAPTCHA under Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Partner and booking links
When you click a deal you go to a partner website (for example Aviasales via Travelpayouts). That site, and the partner network, may set their own cookies to record that you came from Trip Saver so that we can receive a commission, and to run their booking service. These cookies are controlled by the partner under their own cookie policy.
6. Analytics and advertising
Trip Saver does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
7. How to control cookies
You can delete cookies and local storage, or block them, in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working, and clearing local storage resets your country, currency and departure city. Help pages: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all explain this under “Privacy” or “Site data” settings.
